1757 – 1772 Raja Shreeman Jaswant Singhji I Bahadur, Raja of Sailana

1772 – 1782 Raja Shreeman Ajab Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana.

1782 – 1797 Raja Shreeman Mokham Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana.

1797 – 1826 H.H. Raja Shreeman Lakshman Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, son of Raja Shreeman Mokham Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 1797. A strong ruler, who inflicted a decisive defeat on Scindia’s army commanded by Bhujang Rao and forced him to offer tribute. He concluded a Treaty with the HEIC 5th January 1819, accepting British protection and agreed a fixed tribute payable to Gwalior at 42,000 Salim Shahi p.a., in return for Scindia agreeing to refrain from any interference in Sailana.

1827 – 1841 H.H. Raja Shreeman Nahar Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana.

1841 – 1850 H.H. Raja Shreeman Takht Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana.

1895 – 1919 H.H. Raja Shreeman Sir Jaswant Singhji II Bahadur, Raja of Sailana.

H.H. Bharat Dharma Nidhi Raja Shreeman Sir Dilip Singhji

1919 – 1961 H.H. Bharat Dharma Nidhi Raja Shreeman Sir Dilip Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, KCIE (1.1.1936). b. at Jaswant Vilas Palace, Sailana, 18th March 1891, eldest son of H.H. Raja Shreeman Sir Jaswant Singhji II Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, KCIE, KIH, educ. Mayo Coll, Ajmer. Succeeded on the death of his father, 13th July 1919. Ascended the gadi at the Jaswant Vilas Palace, Sailana, 14th July 1919. Invested with full ruling powers, 24th July 1919. Signed the instrument of accession to the Dominion of India, 15th August 1947. He entered into a covenant with his fellow rulers by which he merged his state into the Madhya Bharat Union 15th May 1948.

H.H. Raja Shreeman Digvijaya Singhji Bahadur

1961 – 1990 H.H. Raja Shreeman Digvijaya Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana. b. at Meja, Udaipur Marwar, 15th October 1918, elder son of H.H. Bharat Dharma Nidhi Raja Shreeman Sir Dilip Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, KCIE, by his second wife, H.H. Shrimati Sisodiniji Rani Sahiba,, educ Mayo Coll., Ajmer, Agra Univ. (BA), and Benares Hindu Univ. (MA). Presdt. Sailana State Council 1946-1948. Succeeded on the death of his father, 8th February 1961. Ascended the gadi at the Jaswant Vilas Palace, Sailana, 9th February 1961. The GOI amended the Indian Constitution to remove his guaranteed position as a “ruler” and his right to receive privy-purse payments, 28th December 1971. A celebrated plant collector and expert on roses, cacti and succulents, gourmet and gastronome, and author of “Cooking Delights of the Maharajas” (1982) now in its thirteenth edition.

H.H. Raja Shreeman Vikram Singhji Bahadur

 

 

[1990] H.H. Raja Shreeman Vikram Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana. b. 1951, elder son of H.H. Raja Shreeman Digvijaya Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, by his second wife, H.H. Shrimati Rani Mohini Kumari Sahiba, educ. Daly Coll., Indore. Succeeded on the death of his father as Head of the Royal House of Sailana, 1990. A celebrated gourmet and gastronome, like his father. m. 1973, H.H. Shrimati Rani Chandra Kumariji Sahiba (b. 1955), eldest daughter of H.H. Rukn ud-Daula, Maharajadhiraj Raj Rajeshwar Parama Bhattarak Shri Maharawal Ji Raghunath Singhji Dev Bahadur, Yadukul Chandrawhal, Muzaffar Jung, Bijaimand, Maharaja of Jaisalmer, by his wife, H.H. Maharani Mukut Rajya Lakshmi Devi, eldest daughter of General Supradipta-Manyabara-Nepal-Tara Jyotirmaya-Subikhyat-Tri-Shakti-Patta Suprasidha-Prasidha -Pravala-Gorkha Dakshina-Bahu Sri Sri Sri Maharajkumar Sharada Shamsher Jung Bahadur Rana, of Nepal.

H. H. Vikram Singhji has one son & three daughters:

  1. Shrimati Rajkumari Shailija Kumari Sahiba [Tikarani Shrimati Shailija Kumari Katoch, of Lambagraon].
  2. Shrimati Rajkumari Smriti Kumari Sahiba [Kanwarani Smriti Kumari Shah, of Tehri Garhwal].
  3. Shrimati Rajkumari Shivani Kumari Sahiba.[ of Sawantwadi].

(2015)  Sreeman  Yuvraj  Divyraj Singhji  Saheb Of  Sailana. Born, 1995. on Of  H. H Shreeman Saheb Bahadur, Raja Of  Sailana  And  H.H Shrimati  Rani Chandra Kumari Saheba. Yuvraj Divyaraj Singhji, has studied in Daly College, Indore and Symbiosis  International  School, Pune. He has completed Hotel  Management from the Red Carpet Academy, Pune. He carries forward the gastronomical interests of the Sailana Royal Family with his skills with and passion for food.
