Visiting and Staying at the Palace

The Palace has large double bedrooms with attached dressing rooms and bathrooms. The interiors feature art deco furniture, antique artefacts, paintings by Ramada Ukil, a 30 foot long dining table, hunting trophies, historic photographs and a treasure trove of memorabilia.

For your entertainment, the palace also has a Billiard room, a library, TV lounge, board games and a squash court.

Sailana Palace was originally built in the 1750’s. It was later added upon in the early 1800’s and the new portion was completed in 1898 AD. During the British Raj the Sailana chief enjoyed a salute of 11 guns and the title of “His Highness The Raja of Sailana”.

The best time to visit the Sailana Palace is from October To March.
